Eric was the best agent I could hope for in my home buying experience. My wife and I were very particular about what kind of home we wanted and had all but given up hope after searching through thousands of listings. We had finally found a home we wanted by another agent only for us to lose the home to a lower bid due to that agent giving bad information, scaremongering, and putting us in a terrible negotiating position. After calling the mortgage company to complain, they referred us to Eric, who was THE EXACT OPPOSITE IN EVERY WAY! Eric answered all our questions in the first call, and sent a email immediately upon first contact which highlighted all the benefits of working with him and the [redacted] company that we had applied for a loan with.We were all over the place with him, but he checked out all the places in the Greater Sacramento area that we requested and we ultimately found 5 places of which three we were willing to settle. After deliberation with my wife we ultimately decided to go with one of the options, and bid right at the offer rate, which was accepted.Ultimately due to people building my underwriting profile dropping the ball and making some huge mistakes in income calculation and DTI, my loan was denied by underwriting, having notified us of the issues a mere 10 days from closing, and the home went back on the market. Eric came right to the rescue and suggested a couple reputable loan brokers. We were pre-approved within 24 hours, and had underwriting conditionally approve within just one week! On top of all that, we decided to make a new offer on the home, which the sellers dropped the new list price on by a whopping $25k, and Eric helped us lock in that even lower rate. So it all worked out! From there it was smooth sailing, Eric even honored the 1% rebate on closing costs even though I no longer was working with [redacted] loan company, taken out of his own commission! He worked with our schedules to get the keys when we were free to make the trip up to the new home, and stayed with us every step of the way until everything was taken care of. My home had been listed on the market for 5 months when I met Jacqueline. During those previous 5 months we had received no offers and had just been released from a contingent buyers agreement. Although our home was beautiful and priced competitively, other homes were flying threw offers and escrow closes. Month 5 on the market hit. We entered into our second Contingent Buyer Agreement. The terms were strict, we had one week to be in contract and 30 days to close escrow in order to close on our new build. With no previous offers on our home, we tried to hire Jaqueline. Stefanie is the absolute Best! Having worked with a quite a few other realtors in the past, we've often felt like our best interest played second fiddle to the realtor's primary desire just to close another sale. I can assure you that is not the case with Stefanie. Stefanie has always had our best interest in mind, at all times, and the fact that Stefanie has represented us on a number of transactions over the past five or six years, both as buyer's agent and seller's agent, should speak for itself. In our first transaction with Stefanie, she represented us on the purchase of our replacement home in what is akin to a reverse 1031 exchange. Stefanie was incredibly patient in showing us quite a few homes over the course of several trips to the area and the insights that she provided on the nuances of each particular home/location, as only an experienced local realtor can do, were unbelievably helpful. In our next transaction, Stefanie represented us on the sale of our relinquished home in the 1031 exchange. The marketing and contract negotiations went great, but an issue arose with one of the inspections and I was quite sure the buyer would walk. In the calm way manner that she exudes, she was able to calm my anxiety and draw from her long list of contacts to quickly remedy the situation and save the sale. Our most recent transaction involved the sale of our vacation home in the Nakoma Resort in Plumas County in 2024.
